Requirements

Key Qualifications

-  Major in computer science, microelectronics, or related fields with over 10 years experiences.

-  Proficiency in microarchitecture design, digital front-end design/verification, familiarity with mainstream CPU architectures, Such as ARM(Priority), X86, PowerPC, MIPs, Risc-V.

-  Familiarity with system performance analysis and optimization, PPA (Performance, Power, and Area) assessment, low-power design, and DFX (Design For eXcellence).

-  Focusing on product definition, road map discussion, new technology introducing, SoC development supporting. Possess in-depth understanding of various key modules commonly found in SoCs, such as CPU, Graphics, Computer Vision, Multimedia (Audio/Video/ISP), DDR Controller, Cache Coherency, Memory Consistency, Fabric, Power Management, Security, and System architecture.

-  Strong problem-solving, analytical, and innovative abilities. Keep an eye on industry trends and new technologies, continuously driving chip architecture optimization and innovation.

Responsibilities

-   From analyzing application scenarios/product definitions to the concrete implementation of SoC chip solutions, responsible for chip product technology roadmap, critical technology, and competitive analysis.

-   Responsible for SOC-level chip architecture design. Based on system performance, power consumption, cost, and schedule requirements, design and optimize chip architecture, select optimized IP, perform performance and power simulation & modeling, and handle the development of CPU microarchitecture, cache, bus, low-power system design, and other solutions.

-   Assist in chip testing and performance evaluation, conducting PPA (Performance, Power, and Area) analysis of the system.

-  Resolve technical issues during chip design and implementation, assist other team members, such as FPGA/back-end teams, in optimizing IP/SoC to ensure key specifications are met.

-  Participate in pre-research for new technologies.

Education & Experience

-  Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience. Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. Or PhD degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
